A Christmas Dinner Party Invitation for Your Table

Gather the people you love most around your table this Christmas. This invitation opens on a deep green front door dressed in a wreath of dried oranges and cotton. Little potted trees and wrapped gifts flank the door, all in soft sage, kraft, and gold watercolor.

Maybe you’re hosting a Christmas Eve dinner, a December cookbook club gathering, or an evening with friends and neighbors. Either way, it welcomes your guests before they ever ring the bell. In addition, every detail is fully editable: the event name, date, time, host, address, and RSVP. As a result, it’s ready to send in minutes. Prefer a come-and-go gathering? Simply change the event name to Holiday Open House.

The Matching Thank-You Card

Christmas Dinner Party also includes a matching “Thank You” card set in a quiet room after the party. It shows a garland-draped window, a warm throw, and a few gifts still waiting by the bench. Meanwhile, a sleeping cat curls up on the cushion.

It’s a simple, meaningful way to let your guests know how much it meant to have them there. After all, the evening doesn’t really end when you clear the last plate. Instead, it ends when your guests know you cherished them. In the end, the invitation opens the door, and the thank-you card closes it gently.

How It Works

First, add the invitation to your cart and check out right here on the site. Next, you’ll receive a link to an editable Canva template with both cards. There, you can personalize the date, time, host, and RSVP details. Then download and print at home, or share digitally with your guests.

Christmas Dinner Party is $9.00. This is a digital download, so no physical item will ship. Because digital delivery is instant, all sales are final.

The Perfect Cookbook Pairing

Pair it with Make It Ahead by Ina Garten. You’ll find it among my Favorites, filled with elegant, approachable recipes you can prepare before your guests arrive, plus Ina’s practical advice on what to make ahead and when, so you can spend the evening at the table instead of in the kitchen.
